Visited for first time today. Cute place with video slots (of course!). Tried the snack sampler. Very yummy. Son had a hot dog which for $4 was small and came with nothing. Sampler was priced well for what ypu got. Staff friendly. Chairs were needing some TLC. I'd visit again.
It's been years since I've been to Kojak's, but we came back home for a visit over the holidays and were looking for a dinner on Christmas Eve. We lucked out with Kojak's being one of the few places open. We called to order gyros and fries for pickup. While I can't comment on dining in, I imagine it's similar to years ago where it's more fast casual where you take a seat after ordering and wait to go grab your order. I heard they're under new ownership, so I was curious how the food has held up. The gyros were HUGE! I could barely finish half, it had so much meat. There were a bit too many onions, but that's not too problematic since you can just pull some off. The tzatziki was a bit thick and missing some flavor, it seemed like mostly just the cucumber and yogurt but was missing some of the lemon, herbs, and olive oil flavor. The fries were crispy and solid, pretty fresh. My mom liked her chicken kebabs, and we all had some of the rice pilaf which was super flavorful (and there was a TON). It's not quite as great as I remember, but I'm definitely open to coming back when I'm in town.
I was visiting family and they suggested we order from Kojak's. I have never had their food. I ordered online, very easy. My pickup was ready on time. The chicken Gryos is really good! The meat is tender and flavorful. There was plenty of meat and toppings. The honey mustard is tasty. Everyone in my family enjoyed all of the food we ordered. Regular Gryos, sweet potato fries (yummy), burger and chicken kabobs. Reasonable prices. I'll order again!
We have driven by this place many times and decided to stop for lunch. Fried Chicken sandwich with crispy French fries & a gyro & Diet Coke. All were very good! They also have Coke Zero, ice cream & beer! We will return!! Sad that we didn't come sooner!
